Charleston Field Trip
Every year we have a end of a year field trip for all of our cadets. This year we choose to take them on a, 2 night 3 day trip to Charleston. While in Charleston they stayed aboard the USS Yorktown. Through the 3 day spam they got to visit many museums and learn many interesting things about Charleston's history.
JCLC
JCLC is a 7 day JROTC summer camp program held at Fort Jackson, SC. This year we sent 4 girls and 5 boys. During their time there Cadets were fully engaged in activities such as rappelling, canoeing, obstacle courses, zip lines, orienteering, drill and ceremonies, and various other team building events. They also learned many leadership skills.
Fall Muster
Fall Muster
Our Fall muster also known as our Icebreaker is an annual gathering we like to host for all our cadets at the beginning of the year. It's a great chance for our cadets to meet our staff for the year. We have a friendly competition between Alpha and Bravo company. We play many fun games from balloon toss to tug-o-war, and they also get to make new friends.
East Rowan Raider Meet
Congratulations to our raider team for winning 2nd place over all at the East Rowan Raider Meet!
Field Day
On October 20th, Hough hosted the annual CMS Field Day. Schools from the district will came to compete in various events, including relays, individual events, and the infamous tug-o-war. This event is mandatory for all Hough JROTC cadets, as we had to set up, take down and run the event the whole event.
